Description

First things first I WILL ACCEPT OFFERS ON THIS DOLL! If you would like to buy him, please make me an offer! No trades, sorry. - thornwolf227[at]gmail.com Offers are accepted but I also would like to keep this guy so I have a number in my head, but for the right buyer I will happily rehome him.

:iconbalaa: and I have project weekends on occasion where we pick a project and attempt to finish as much as we can on our days off. Its an exercise in problem solving and we have something to show for it in the end, which makes it much more rewarding! Last time we made pajama pants. This time we each made a handmade doll. MUCH more complicated!

This one is my creation. His name is Atrox and he's a prehistoric saberlion. I know such things don't exist but I love lions and I love sabertooth critters so I felt like combining my own aesthetic taste into something unique.

His face and limbs are hand sculpted with sculpey and painted with acrylics, with glass eyes and even bristly whiskers. His claws are out and ready to rumble, he's a real bruiser!

His mane is super soft and plush, it just begs to be stroked and petted. And lets not forget his nubby little spotted saber tail!

He has a wire armature and is somewhat flexible, but mostly just sits and looks pretty. He's between 9-10 inches tall and has some weight to him. He's really fun to hold :) After I finished him I sat out on the back patio with him for cuddles and outside time. XD

Since he is an art doll he is intended for display and light handling only, though he is very durable in construction, I don't recommend taking any chances. He is one of a kind, definitely not something I ever expected to make, but I'm quite pleased with the result!
