Today is free sketch day! From now until Midnight Pacific Time on August 13th, I will be doing a free headshot for anyone who fills out the form on this LJ entry located here:

I do full body sketches for tips! Any donation amount is more than welcomed, you will get a headshot sketch as long as you fill out the form, but a donation of $10 or more will get you a full body shot. I will be doing as many of these sketches as I can, giving priority to those who donated, and working down the list.

If my donation amount reaches $500, everyone who signed up before free sketch day ends will get a body shot!

Why am I accepting donations? I'm trying to save up for a new laptop computer. My current one doesn't support The CS4 Adobe creative suite, and I really need it for work. Not to mention, with a new computer I'll be able to ustream myself working so you folks out there curious about my methods can see me work from time to time. My current computer crashes as running ustream/camtwist and photoshop overheats it too much and makes it lag horribly. So, the sooner I get a new computer, the sooner I'll be able to share some tips with you guys!

If you don't have paypal but would like to donate anyways, we can work something out, just note me! Also, want to sign up but don't have an LJ account? It's prefferred to keep these things on LJ, but if you absolutely do not have an account, please fill out the form and post it here on this DA journal entry.

*Edit* Just to be clear for those of you who didn't catch it on my lj post, as mentioned, I'm going to be working on these in order, so I very well may not get to all of them before the day ends. Those who /do/ donate /will/ get a drawing whether it be a headshot or a body shot (if the donation exceeds $10). So, if I don't get to yours, I apologize!


*EDIT EDIT* 12:41 PM PACIFIC TIME - It is officially August 13th and past midnight. I apologize for the confusion, but I did mean tonight. Granted it was more like free sketch "partial day", rather "the day that free sketches were offered", but I was following a friend's lead and really didn't expect this kind of turnout so I figured I'd play it safe and go for a few hours and see how it went. SO! That said, everyone who has commented up to the point of this edit will receive their headshot. I will do this again the future, and shortly I'll have some art for you. But for now, bed time! Thank you to all who have participated If you would still like to donate towards my laptop fund out of pure kindness, I will still very much appreciate it! But I can't guarantee art at this point as, you can see, I will be very busy for the next few days, but I thank you all again.
